On March 4, 2007, we, RHKR Volunteers Association (Ontario) held our annual Chinese New Year Dinner at Ruby Restaurant.  With over 40 happy souls fully packed in 4 tables, the spirit was high and full of joyful moments.  When Alfred Lai who returned from Afghanistan after a duty tour appeared, everyone felt excited and returned him with blessings and greetings.  A flag of our association which travelled with him was returned to our president Mr Au.  It marked a sense of achievement and everyone was proud of Mr Lai.  While living peacefully in Canada, everyone put their hope for a more peaceful world at the same time.

Thanks to the organizers, the dinner was fully packed with activities including lucky draw and bingo.  A lucky couple won two bingo games out of three and became the focus for the last one.  Our photographers worked hard as well for capturing the precious moments and please visit our photo album for a share.

The Chinese New Year Dinner this year has now been scheduled for Sunday March 4, 2007 at the Ruby Restaurant. Please note that all members, their spouses and family are welcome.

The charge is $40.00 per adult, $20.00 per child (age under 7 is Free of Charge but has to be together with family at the same table). The charges included 10 deluxe prizes for Lucky Draw (1 Digital Picture Frame, 2 Wireless Keyboard with mouse, 2 DVD Players, 2 sets Kitchen Ware, 2 RHKR Ontario Branch Fleece , 1 T-Shirt), Wine and Drink will serve with dinner.
